VISTAS North Hollywood

VISTAS North Hollywood is a center-based program that includes both classroom-setting teaching and a large emphasis on community integration and consumer choice.

VISTAS Granada Hills

VISTAS Granada Hills is a 100% community-based program that begins each day at Petit Park. Being 100% community-based is centered around community integration and consumer choice.

VISTAS Hawthorne

VISTAS Hawthorne is a center-based program that includes both classroom-setting teaching and a large emphasis on community integration and consumer choice.

VISTAS Home

The VISTAS Home is an ARF (Adult Residential Facility) vendored by North Los Angeles Regional Center.

ABOUT US

Specialized Health Services, Inc. is a non-profit, private agency was established in 1985 at the request of North Los Angeles Country Regional Center. At that time there were no day programs available to meet the needs of individuals with both developmental disabilities and mental illness. The agency currently operates three treatment programs (vendored as behavior management day programs) and one adult residential facility. In order to continue to provide highly individualized supports, the agency has intentionally remained small with regard to the number of consumers it serves. this lends itself to both agency directors remaining very involved in client programming.
